The QR Code tool in OZmob was developed to make it faster to locate a specific box in the app.
This tool can be very useful in situations where a technician is in the field and needs to find the box where maintenance must be performed, for example.
To use this tool, you need to generate a QR Code in OZmap within the box by selecting the following icon:
After choosing the document format (PDF or PNG), a file containing the QR Code will be downloaded. This QR Code must be attached to the boxes in the field.
For the technician to scan the QR Code, they must click the icon located next to the search bar in OZmob, as shown below:
Or from the main menu by selecting “Read QR Code”:
By clicking the icon, the camera will open and should be pointed at the QR Code. Once scanned, the app will automatically redirect to the corresponding box.
