Within OZloc, viability (or feasibility) can be assessed in two ways: using poles or by radius. This article will clarify the differences between these methods to help you choose the one that best meets your needs.
Let's start with feasibility by radius. In this method, when you’re searching for the client's location, all boxes within the established radius will be visible. This radius can be set according to your preferences.
In this feasibility mode, the distance will be calculated as the straight-line distance from the client to the box. To proceed with the sale, you can click directly on the box, creating a straight-line drop.
You can also draw the drop to the box by selecting the "Draw drop" button located at the top of the screen.
When drawing the drop, you will need to click "Check feasibility" to finalize the sale.
In feasibility by poles, we first need to discuss adjacencies, a feature that allows you to set possible paths between poles (click here to learn more about them). In this case, feasibility is assessed using these possible paths and automatically calculating the drop length from the first pole to the box. First, a pole within a specified radius is selected, and then the box is chosen, showing only the boxes where the drop adheres to the project’s configured limit.
By generating the drop automatically, this feasibility mode can more precisely determine the drop length and simplify the sales team's process, eliminating the need to manually draw the drop.
To change the feasibility mode, access the left tab of OZmap, go to the "Settings" area, and select "System" This will display all system configurations on the screen; Go to the "OZloc" tab and select the desired mode.
