When a salesperson makes a sale in an area where the HUB no longer has available ports to connect new clients, an option will appear to send an email to the engineering team requesting an expansion of the local network or to create a prospect at that location.

This is an example map within OZmap where all the HUB’s slots are already occupied:

This is the same area within OZloc, where the salesperson will select a pole to connect the client.

After selecting the client’s pole, the system will check whether there are available connections in the nearby HUBs.

If there aren’t any, a window indicating “No viability” will appear, showing the feasibility details and the reason why the sale could not be completed. Some of the possible reasons include a lack of available ports (in pole-based feasibility), exceeding the drop length limit (in radius-based feasibility), among others.

In a location without feasibility, you can notify the team about this need. To do so, click the “Options” button and select “Engineering email.”

After clicking, a confirmation message will appear on the screen, completing the contact with the team responsible for analyzing the implementation.

You can also create a prospect at this location, click “Create Prospect”, and fill in the fields with the corresponding information.

Gated Communities

In the case of a gated community, the situation may be slightly different. Below is an image showing an example where all splitter outputs are already occupied.

Looking at the image above, you can notice two tabs on the left side.

The first tab shows the poles near the point selected by the salesperson. The second one, right below it, marks the gated community.

The gated community is treated as a separate connection from the pole network, since it has its own internal structure for clients. Therefore, if the client belongs to the gated community, select either the community on the map or the line representing it in the lower section of the menu on the left.

If the gated community’s equipment has no available outputs, the same “Send to Engineering” alert will appear.
